The Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation provides athletes all the necessary conditions, Israeli gymnast Juliana Telegina said in an interview with a Vestnik Kavkaza correspondent after performing in the qualifying exercises with a ribbon at the 37th World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Baku.
”I am in Baku for the third time, the organization of tournaments is always great here. AGF provides everything that an athlete needs,” she said.
“For example, there are a lot of gymnastic carpets here, we can train without any problem. In addition, we have two hours for training per day - it is a lot. If we want to practice, even more, we are provided with an opportunity to train, and that is not common in other countries,” Juliana Telegina said.
"A special pleasure is the training camp in Baku. We first came here to the training camp in April, and were very pleased with how the sports life is organized here," the Israeli gymnast added.
This week, on September 16-22, the 37th World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships is held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku. The tournament is the qualification competition for the 32nd Olympic Games in Tokyo. More than 300 gymnasts from 61 countries are competing for nine sets of medals. The motto of the tournament is “Fairy tales will come to life”
