In the event that Armenia's ruling Republican Party (RPA) wins the parliamentary election in 2017, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan will continue heading the government, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said Saturday.
RPA's 16th convention is currently underway in Yerevan, Armenia.
"Should we secure a confidence vote, Karapetyan will further run the Cabinet to continue implementing the scheduled program," Sargsyan said. "Organizing and holding faultless parliamentary election in 2017 is our top priority," PanARMENIAN.Net quoted him as saying.
