Kazakhstan's Scat Airlines carried out the first direct flight between Astana and Yerevan, representatives of the State Committee for Tourism under the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia welcomed guests at the Zvartnots airport in Yerevan.
"We hope that mutual tourist trips will help us to better know our countries, and we, in our turn, are happy to welcome new Kazakhstan tourists to Armenia." We welcome them and are ready to create the best conditions for them," NEWS.am cited the chairman of the committee Zarmine Zeituntsyan as saying.
Astana - Yerevan - Astana flights will be carried out twice a week - on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
