The international round-table dedicated to the 170th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh improviser, author of the famous poem 'People of Leningrad, my children!', Jambyl Jabayev, was held in the city of Taraz in the Zhambylskaya District of Kazakhstan.
The event is organized by the expert club 'Ural Eurasia', the Urals Federal University and the Taraz State University named after М.Kh. Dulaty (Kazakhstan).
The participants of the meeting will discuss various issues of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia, including Jambyl Jabayev's contribution to the strengthening of friendship between the Kazakh and Russian peoples, as well as joint educational programs between educational institutions of Taraz and Urals Federal Districts.
