The Chairman of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, said that Astana condemns the policy of sanctions, as it harms the global economy.
"The policy of the twenty-first century should not have a place for the sanctions that undermine the entire global economy," he said during a joint session of the three General Committees of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
The MP noted that Eurasian security is a common historical responsibility, so countries should act jointly against existential threats.
"We consider the practice of blocking parliamentary delegations by visa restrictions to be unacceptable, particularly their Speakers," RIA Novosti cited Tokarev as saying.
