Businessman Tokhtar Tuleshov, suspected of power grab attempt, has also been involved in a number of grave and especially grave crimes, the spokesman of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan, Ruslan Karasev, said.
The criminal case also involves 25 people and about 300 witnesses.
"The investigator has found and proven the involvement of Tuleshov in a number of grave and especially grave crimes," AKI press cited the statement as saying.
"It has been proven that the armed group orchestrated by Tuleshov committed a number of crimes, including murder, attempted murder, kidnapping and unlawful deprivation of liberty, torture, robbery, intentional destruction of another's property," the release says.
In addition, the investigation has established that Tuleshov and a number of his associates prepared violent power grab, social tensions, riots and protests.
