Kazakhstan declares January 10 Day of National Mourning

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev declared January 10 as the Day of National Mourning in the country, the press secretary of Tokayev Berik Uali informed.

"In connection with the numerous human casualties as a result of tragic events in a number of regions of the country, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, decided to declare January 10, 2022 a day of national mourning. The corresponding decree will be published on Akorda's website," the press secretary wrote on his page in Facebook.
