A criminal investigation was initiated into the crash of the Kazakh Defense Ministry’s helicopter in the Kyzylorda Region yesterday, Kazakh Deputy Prosecutor General Andrey Lukin said.
All 13 servicemen who were onboard the Kazakh Defense Ministry’s helicopter have been killed, TASS reported.
The Mi-8 helicopter crashed in the Zhalagash district in the Kyzylorda Region in southern Kazakhstan on March 27. The helicopter crashed and was totally burnt. The incident occurred when it was performing drills in the dark time and in difficult meteorological conditions.
