Kazakhstan intends to propose the UN member states to develop the Astana code of conduct for the international anti-terrorist operations, the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said in his policy address to the UN Security Council.
He said that it can become the basis for the formation of the global antiterrorist coalition under the auspices of the UN, which creation he proposed in his speech at the 70th session of the UN General Assembly.
"Joint efforts of all states, international and regional organizations is the only way to counter terrorism and extremism," Nazarbayev pointed out.
