Kazakhstan to become WTO member in a month

The Kazakh Parliament has ratified the protocol on the accession of Kazakhstan to the World Trade Organization (WTO). The next step will be its signing by President Nursultan Nazarbayev. The applicant becomes a member of the WTO 30 days after it has notified the WTO Secretariat that it has completed the ratification.

Earlier, it was expected that the deputies of the parliament will take the protocol on accession of the Republic to the Marrakesh Agreement establishing the World Trade Organization in late October, TASS reports.
