Kazakhstan will receive official recognition as a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO) on December 15th, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexei Volkov reported
"In Nairobi on December 15th Kazakhstan will be formally recognized as a full member of this organization at the 10th ministerial meeting of the WTO," Volkov said at a round table dedicated to the republic's accession to the WTO, the news agency Novosti-Kazakhstan reports.
In addition, Astana expects the European Union's decision on the possible granting to Kazakhstan of the status of a country with a market economy.
