State Secretary of Kazakhstan Yerlan Karin said that a new Concept of Youth Policy will be developed by the Presidential Council on Youth Policy.
Earlier, a meeting of the Presidential Council on Youth Policy was held, the press service of Akorda reports.
"The Concept will become the basic, core document in the youth policy field. The analytical data from the annual national report "Youth", independent sociological research, proposals and recommendations formed during expert and public discussions will be used in the Concept’s development", the statement said.
In addition to this, the Council members discussed issues of countering the spread of synthetic drugs among young residents of the republic. Following the meeting, specific recommendations were developed for government agencies with the active involvement of the public in informational and preventive work.
