Kemal Kılıçdaroglu, the head of a key opposition Turkish party, the Republican People’s Party, today called to establish a direct link between the Turkish and Syrian authorities.
“The channel of communication between Ankara and Damascus is the easiest way to bring peace,” he explained, speaking at the international conference on Syria in Istanbul. Kılıçdaroglu stressed that stability in Turkey depends on peace in Syria.
