Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei met with the Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi in Tehran, Press TV reports.
According to Khamenei, some European governments and companies have been visiting Iran, but the product of these negotiations has not yet been tangible.
Ayatollah Khamenei said that some people shift the blame for this issue onto the Americans and that Washington is not fulfilling its obligations made throughout the nuclear talks.
"Iran welcomes improving relations with Italy, particularly in the field of economic cooperation," Trend cited him as saying.
