The hearing of the criminal case against Armenia’s ex-President, one of the instigators of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict Robert Kocharyan was postponed until March 2, judge Anna Danibekyan said.
She called the absence of ex-Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan's lawyer Eric Aleksanyan at the hearing as the reason to postpone it.
"The court cannot continue the case hearing without a lawyer. The next session is scheduled for March 2," TASS cited her as saying.
Danibekyan stressed that Aleksanyan showed contempt for the court by not appearing at the hearing, and therefore his behavior will be considered at the meeting on March 2.
