The authorities of Chechnya, headed by Ramzan Kadyrov, spend a lot of educational work with young people, as well as on the improvement of relations in all sections of the population in the republic, the member of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security, Alexei Kondratiev, said in an interview with a correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza.
He also shared his opinion about the Day of Peace, which was established by the leadership of the Chechen Republic in 2009. "We have to understand that there have been a number of complex events in the republic for the last 20 years. People shouldn't remember evil of two wars in Chechnya, but, above all, seek to develop the country, relations between people and the education of youth in the spirit of good, peace, and respect for neighbors. Therefore, there is a number of festivals which are celebrated in the spirit of national traditions and customs in order to set an example for young people," Alexei Kondratiev noted.
