Active preparations are under way in Krasnodar for the celebration of the 222nd anniversary of the founding of the city, which will take place on September 26-27.
The celebration will begin on September 26 with the reception of foreign delegations of the twin cities of Krasnodar. Then a solemn ceremony of raising the state flag will be held at Theater Square, the press service of the regional center said.
The official start of the festivities will be in the Park of the 30th anniversary of the Victory. There will be a special presentation, entertainment and traditional festival of national-cultural associations.
The traditional ceremony of dedication of school students to young little Cossacks will be held at Cathedral Square on September 27.
