Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger met with Russian President Vladimir Putin as 'a private individual''.
"As you may know he was here last time in 2013, if I’m not mistaken, he also came here in 2010, when Putin led the government. He had visited Russia before that and Putin also visited him in the United States. Their contacts have long traditions," Peskov said.
Putin and Kissinger exchanged opinions on current issues, TASS reports.
