The training of Russia’s nuclear force is a regular affair not related with any world events and it is held in strict compliance with international rules, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, commenting yesterday's training of Russia’s nuclear triad in which the head of state, Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Putin took part.
"Nuclear triad tests are a permanent, regular process and they are not connected with any international events," TASS cited Peskov as saying.
He pointed out that such activities in no way influenced the international situation, because they were carried out "in strict compliance with international rules, with all necessary notifications dispatched in advance."
Putin made launches of four ballistic missiles yesterday.
