Kvirikashvili: date of parliamentary elections not be changed

The date of the parliamentary elections in Georgia was chosen as a result of consultations and it won't be changed, the Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.

"The elections will be held on October 8, and this is a political decision," the head of government stressed. "We have discussed the issue with the President. In fact, I think there is nothing wrong with knowing the date of the elections in advance," the press service of the government cited Kvirikashvili as saying.
