The candidate for the post of the Georgian Prime Minister, Giorgi Kvirikashvili, will submit the new government to the Parliament for approval today. It will remain the same, except for the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the post of which Kvirikashvili held before the resignation of Garibashvili, and the Deputy Prime Minister.
The list is posted on the website of the Parliament of Georgia. The first deputy head of the Foreign Ministry, Mikhail Janelidze, is nominated for the post of the Georgian Foreign Minister, and the acting Economy Minister Dmitry Kumsishvili will take the office of the Deputy Prime Minister.
The hearing will begin at 13.00 (12.00 MSK). At 21.00 (20.00 MSK) the Parliamentary Bureau will summarize the results.
According to him, the plenary session will take place tomorrow at 12.00 (11.00 MSK).
