In Kyrgyzstan the Ministry of the Economy has proposed introducing penalties for the use of the US currency in internal calculations due to the dedollarization of the economy.
"There is a strengthening of responsibility. There may be changes to the administrative code, because we have a free economy and the use of dollars is not a criminal offense. I can say that we can accept the penalties and administrative measures," the head of macroeconomic policy of the Ministry of the Economy, Nasirdin Shamshiev, said.
