The lack of land control is one of the key problems in the North Caucasus, the Minister for the North Caucasus, Lev Kuznetsov, said. He announced that the North Caucasus regions will be allocated more than 300 billion rubles until 2025.
Success in the implementation of economic projects depends on inter-regional cooperation, he noted, adding that the cross-border project, which was begun in North Ossetia, will enter the program of development of cultivation of potatoes in Ingushetia.
Land conflicts are a problem in the North Caucasus. Experts believe that the low legal position of the residents is among the main reasons for this. Another negative factor is the opacity of the procedures for determining the status of the land.
