The Expo Center on Krasnaya Presnya has opened the 24th International Exhibition 'WorldFood Moscow'. The main objective of the exhibition is to discuss the ways to strengthen the food security of Russia and the substitution of imported products on the basis of capacity of its own food production.
This year the WorldFood Moscow exhibition is attended by more than 1500 companies from 70 countries. Russian producers will present their dairy, fish, confectionery, canned products. The total share of Russian companies is about 50% of all exhibitors.
China, Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Brazil, South Africa and Argentina have the largest expositions.
Brazilian Vice President Michel Temer,Iranian Deputy Industry, Mine and Trade Minister, Valiollah Afkhami Rad, Head of Chamber of Commerce and other officials included the WorldFood Moscow in the program of their visit to Russia.
