Russia denies any attempts to accuse Moscow of all negative events taking place in the US, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at his meeting with a delegation of US experts headed by President of the Center for the National Interest Dmitri Simes.
"We denounce attempts to accuse Russia of anything negative happening in the US," Lavrov said.
"We denounce attempts to introduce accusations against Russia of anything negative that happens in the US into this discussion. I think that any man of sense can see their absurdity," TASS cited him as saying.
The minister believes that straight and open cooperation is needed when addressing other problems, such as nonproliferation of mass destruction weapons and acts of terrorism in the Middle East and beyond it.
