Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and the head of the US State Department John Kerry are to meet in Zurich on January 20th.
It was agreed during a telephone conversation, the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry reports.
"In accordance with the request of the Presidents of Russia and the United States, who discussed the current international issues by telephone recently, the foreign ministers are continuing to find ways to resolve the Syrian crisis and the conflict in Ukraine. Lavrov and Kerry agreed to hold a private meeting on January 20 in Zurich,'' Interfax cites the message.
