Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov urged to complete the fight against terrorism in Syria, the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reported.
"The Syrian settlement is progressing, though of course more slowly than we would like. The fight against terrorism must be completed," the minster said at a large news conference on 2018, noting that the main hotbed of terrorism is Idlib now.
Lavrov noted that militants are continuing to attack the Syrian Army’s positions and the Khmeimim Airbase.
Earlier it was reported that Russian president Vladimir Putin will hold talks with Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan on January 23.
