Russia is counting on the active participation of representatives of U.S. business at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), which is to be held in early June, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at the meeting with a group of representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce.
"We are waiting for the active participation of American businessmen at the SPIEF," TASS cited the top Russian diplomat.
Lavrov also noted that Russia wants to attract foreign businesses, including from the United States, and create favorable conditions for them. The minister expressed hope there will be "favorable attitude towards Russia’s business circles."
