According to the Kuban emergency services, one of the participants of the first stage of the championship of Russia in trophy-raids (off-road racing) in Gelendzhik died. The sports SUV’s driver lost control, and the car crashed into ravine.
"While driving on the rally-raid highway on Saturday, one of the drivers lost control on a steep climb and tilted from a slope into a ravine," Interfax quotes its source.
The driver died, the navigator was hospitalized with a moderate concussion.
