According to the latests findings from the Global Burden of Disease Study, the results of which were published in The Lancet medicine journal, the lowest healthy life expectancy in Europe was recorded in Russia.
The study relies on the Disability-adjusted-life-years (DALY) indicator, which represents the loss of the equivalent of one year of full health.
