An elderly man became a victim of lightning in the mountain village of Bakhmaro of the Chohataur municipality (Guria region), the media reports.
According to the press service of the municipality of Chohatauri, the deceased is 54-year-old Tamaz Adadze, a native of the village of Ninoshvili of the Lanchkhut Municipality. He was engaged in cattle breeding, Novosti-Georgia reports.
While rescuers cannot get to the place of emergency, as the river Bachi overflow the banks and flooded the road due to a downpour. At the moment, special machinery is working on the site.
