The lightning tragedy occurred in the vicinity of the city of Gavar in eastern Armenia, local media write about it.
According to shamshyan.com, this afternoon, at approximately 12.00 local time (11.00 Moscow time), the police received an emergency signal. The caller said that three women were in the field, in the area between the villages of Karmir and Sarukhan. At some point, they were struck by lightning.
Electricity struck all three women. One of them received fatal injuries and died at the scene of the emergency. The other two were taken to hospital in Gavar.
