The events of the patriotic education program, which will be started in Russia next year, should be based on four public holidays, including the Day of Crimea's Reunification with Russia, Russian Minister for Education and Science, Dmitry Livanov, said in Vladivostok.
The minister reminded that there are four main state holidays in Russia: the Day of Russia on June 12, the Victory Day on May 9, the Day of National Unity on November 3 and the Day of Crimea's Reunification with Russia on March 18. These holidays, according to Livanov, "should be a common framework, and a whole system of educational activities in schools should be based on it."
