Residents of the occupied territories of Azerbaijan thanked the Russian peacekeepers for bringing peace to the region. A video showing the appeal of two local residents, made by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, was published by the RT news agency.
"We want to express our deep gratitude to the Russian people and peacekeepers who came here and helped us to put an end to the war," the woman said.
The man emphasized the great role that Russia and, in particular, Russian peacekeepers played in this situation. "Thanks to the Russian troops, the hostilities have stopped. Let’s hope for the best for everyone,” he said.
