Lowlands monitored in Sochi during heavy rains

According to mayor Anatoly Pakhomov's statement at a plenary meeting, monitoring of low-lying areas during rainstorms is being carried out 24-hours a day in Sochi.

"We know about the insidiousness of such rivers as the Herota, Kepsha, Dagomys and others. City personnel and district administrations are instructed to be on duty and to control the level of water," UGA cites him as saying.
