Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has left for Azerbaijan on a two-day official visit.
According to the program of the visit, Alexander Lukashenko and the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will have a closed-door meeting and then an expanded one.
The two leaders are expected to discuss the state and prospects of advancing Belarusian-Azerbaijani relations, including trade and economic cooperation, work on joint cooperation projects, interaction in the area of investments, agriculture and sport.
A number of international documents will be signed after the talks. The Belarusian head of state is also expected to meet with Azerbaijani Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, BelTa news agency reports.
