Russia’s Lukoil has expressed readiness to return to the Iranian oil market, Iranian deputy petroleum minister Amir Hossein Zamaninia said.
Lukoil’s president Vagit Alekperov met with Iran’s oil minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh in Tehran. Increasing the Iranian oilfields’ recovery rate, crude oil exploration and extraction are the most important areas of cooperation.
The Russian company expressed readiness to invest in improving oil recovery techniques in the Iranian fields, Trend reports.
