Mammadyarov meets with President of World Economic Forum in Geneva

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov held a meeting with President of the World Economic Forum Børge Brende, the Azerbaijani foreign ministry said in a message.

During the meeting, Brende invited Minister Elmar Mammadyarov to the World Economic Forum on Middle East and North Africa to be held in Jordan on April 6-7, 2019.

The Azerbaijani FM, in turn, highlighted the objectives of his Geneva visit, and pointed to the 18th Summit of heads of state and government of the Non-Aligned Movement to be held in Baku on October 21-26, 2019.

Elmar Mammadyarov briefed Brende about the current negotiation process on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The sides also discussed the issues on regional and international agenda.
