A fire at a military base in Severodvinsk, in northern Russia’s Arkhangelsk Region, started onboard a vessel, a source in the regional emergencies services said.
"One person died in the incident, which started onboard a vessel, and there is fire now," TASS cited the source as saying.
More than ten people were injured in the accident, according to preliminary data.
Emergency evacuation helicopters are ready to fly to the area where the incident happened, near the village of Nenoksa in the Arkhangelsk region; hospitals are ready to accept possible victims, the press service of the governor Igor Orlov said.
