French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said that the authorities are aware of possible new terrorist attacks.
"We know that operations were being prepared and are still being prepared, not only against France but other European countries too," he said.
In addition, Waltz said that the series of terrorist attacks, which took place in Paris on November 13, were planned in Syria.
"Terrorism has struck and may strike again these days or weeks. I don't want to scare French people but to warn them. We will keep living for a long time with the terrorist threat," he told RTL radio.
The Prime Minister also confirmed that last night anti-terrorist raids were conducted across the country, TASS reports.
