Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili has attended the opening of NATO Week in the country.
The ceremony was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Giorgi Kvirikashvili, State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration, David Bakradze, the representatives of various ministries and international missions, Tbilisi Mayor David Narmania and the military.
"This is a celebration, because we are all together, united by one common value, common aspiration and objectives" to make Georgia "a more secure, stronger and stable country," Margvelashvili said, adding that important steps have been taken in this area. The President also paid tribute to those killed in international missions.
In addition, Margvelashvili congratulated the NATO Information Center on its 10th anniversary and expressed hope that its work will continue to be effective.
