Margvelashvili admonishes Georgian deputies due to PACE resolution

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili criticized parliamentarians for not being able to send PACE the correct interpretation of the conclusion of the ex-Mayor of Tbilisi.

"I couldn't imagine the fact that the Georgian deputies failed to convey to the Europeans that there is already a decision by the Constitutional Court on this case in Georgia. And our judicial system has implemented this decision. It would be interesting information, as it was about the length of the pre-conclusion," Margvelashvili said.

At the same time, the President noted that the comments on the state of human rights in Georgia were made by "European friends", so they should be "the basis for the next steps of the authorities," Sputnik Georgia reports.
