Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili will visit Belarus on March 1-2.
Preparations for the visit have been agreed between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries.
Margvelashvili will reportedly hold a meeting with the chairmen of both chambers of the Belarusian parliament, Vladimir Andreichenko and Mikhail Myasnikovich.
According to the President, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko's visit to Georgia in April 2015 opened a new page in the relations between the two states.
“If we take a look at our trade turnover, we will see that Belarus is Georgia's 11th biggest trading partner. I am confident that we can increase the figures. The expansion of the relations between our states will definitely promote business,” the President concluded.
