The leader of the Azerbaijani national team in rhythmic gymnastics, Marina Durunda, became the 2nd, scoring 16.55 points.
Another Uzbek gymnast Sabina Tashkenbaeva won the bronze medal, scoring 16.3 points.
The 4th Islamic solidarity Games are held in Baku on May 8-22. Athletes will compete at 16 sports facilities in 17 Olympic and three non-Olympic types of sports. Rhythmic and sports gymnastics competitions were included in the program of the Islamic Solidarity Games for the first time on the initiative of the First Vice President of Azerbaijan, President of the Federation of Gymnastics of Azerbaijan, Mehriban Aliyeva.
