Matvienko comments on "Yarovaya law"

The package of anti-terrorism laws adopted by the State Duma on June 24, according to the profile committee of the Federation Council, meets the requirements of the Constitution, the chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko stated.

Matvienko also pointed out that senators will monitor the enforcement of these laws, and if it will cause "concern among citizens", then "it will be possible to adjust them".

On June 24 the State Duma adopted a package of anti-terrorism laws, which were proposed by MP Irina Yarovaya and Senator Viktor Ozerov.
