Russia is fully prepared to repel potential biological threats and Russian citizens can feel safe, Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko said.
"During the work of the parliamentary commission, we also got convinced that our country is fully prepared for repelling biological threats," she said.
As Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova confirmed, the relevant work is being carried out in Russia in full and at a high professional level, Matviyenko stressed, noting that Russian citizens are in safety.
