General Mavel Grigoryan’s son Karen Grigoryan, who was Echmiadzin mayor until recently, was charged with gross embezzlement in collusion with other persons, Armenia's Special Investigation Service reports.
Mavel Grigoryan, his father, who was a member of the National Assembly and the head of Yerkrapah, was arrested earlier, ARKA reported.
According to the office, there is enough evidence for charging Manvel Grigoryan with illegal purchasing, selling and keeping guns and armament, including explosives and with gross embezzlement.
