India plans to increase exports to Russia, the administration of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is negotiating with Moscow to lift restrictions on a number of Indian goods, Bloomberg reports, citing sources familiar with the situation.
"India plans to increase supplies to Russia by an additional $2 billion", the agency said in a statement. The country is considering the possibility of exporting to Russia a number of goods, the supply of which from other countries was suspended due to sanctions, RIA Novosti reports.
The list includes pharmaceuticals, plastics, organic and inorganic chemicals, household goods, rice, tea, coffee, and dairy products.
