Defenders of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, sentenced to death for organizing a terrorist attack in Boston, have filed a statement of appeal to the Court of the United States today, Associated Press reports.
Tsarnaev's lawyers earlier filed a request for a new process, explaining the request was because the jury's decision was influenced by the fact that the trial took place in Boston, where the attack happened. However, the US federal judge dismissed the defense request for a new trial. No information about the grounds of the appeal was filed, the statement doesn't specify them: it will be known after the defense will present additional documents,'' RIA Novosti reports.
