Russian Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky said that the country is trying to attract tourists from Arab countries, including the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait to Russian regions with Muslim populations.
He made the announcement in Dubai, from where he will travel to Kuwait, where on Monday March 28th the second national tourist office Visit Russia in the region will be opened. The first such office appeared in Dubai at the end of 2015.
